Description of the attraction
The village of Jakubovice is located near Wroclaw. One of its main attractions is the Yakubus estate, which consists of three guest houses, one of which is located in a castle of the late 19th century, a riding school, a sports club, a bar and a restaurant, surrounded by a picturesque park. The hotel complex covers an area of 40 hectares.
The Jakubovice resort hosts 30 equestrian events per year. Each of these events is a sports festival for professionals who cannot imagine life without horse riding and are used to spending all their free time in the saddle, and an entertainment event for lesser-known equestrian sports enthusiasts. In summer, the Tour Silesia Equestrian competition is held here, which attracts riders with their horses from all over the world. A little later, Jakubowice hosted the equestrian championship, in which only Polish athletes participate. Two weeks later, children compete on ponies at the local hippodrome. In September, the "Dancing Horses" dressage competition is held - this is a demonstration of how elegant and harmonious a rider and a horse look.
The equestrian school at the Yakubus Hotel teaches you how to sit in the saddle, know the basic commands and be able to apply them in practice, not be afraid of horses, and just enjoy horseback riding. School staff offer professional one-to-one lessons, horseback riding, horseback riding and carriage rides. It is better to combine classes in an equestrian school with attending entertainment events at the hippodrome.
