The central city park in Andorra la Vella is a small green area in this small town, sandwiched between mountain ranges.

The rock garden contains stones from all over the country. Here you can see granodiorite, travertine, phyllite, lita, conglomerate, gneiss, quartzite of two types, slate of all varieties, volcanic rocks and much more. The tablets indicate where this or that stone was mined. Visitors can learn how a particular rock formed and how many millions of years it actually took for this long process to complete.
